Jodi Lancaster, M.A., CCC-A
Jodi grew up in Copley and attended Copley High School and The University of Akron.  She received a Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Disorders, and a Master's Degree in Audiology.  She joined Akron Hearing Aid Center in 1988 as a graduate student doing an externship, and then joined the staff officially in May of 1989.  She currently lives in Sharon Center with her husband David, and their two children, Erin and Alec.  Jodi and her family are active in research and finding a cure for  Fragile X Syndrome which is the most common inherited disorder worldwide.  Fragile X can cause mental impairment, behavior challenges, autistic behaviors and seizures.  In her spare time, Jodi enjoys shopping, decorating, reading and scrapbooking.

Terri Runner, Patient Care Coordinator

Terri is our friendly receptionist who has been serving Akron Hearing Aid Centers for over 13 years!  She grew up in a small town in Horseheads, NY and now resides in the Firestone Park area of Akron.  Terri has been married for 24 years to Paul, and has 3 grown children; Cherilyn, Richard, and Robert.  Her daughter Cherilyn will be making Terri a first time grandma in April 2011!  She is very involved in her church, Riverside Alliance, with various ministries such as:  Wednesday night club teacher for 4th and 5th graders, drama team choreographer, Alliance Women, Sign language music ministry, and ScrapNite!  One of Terri's favorite activities is camping with her family; all amenities included....no roughing it for them!  She is an avid scrapbooker and stamper, and has taken up new crafting hobbies in crochet and knitting--now that she is to become a gramma!  Look for her special recipes as well in our quarterly newsletter that is mailed to our valued patients!
